Barks & Recreation is a Doggy Daycare, Grooming facility with In-Home Care options located in Seminole Florida. We provide a loving family-oriented environment for our customers pets and are looking for friendly, energetic and motivated staff to support our furry customers

Position: Dog Groomer

Status: Open

Full Time: 40 Hours per week

Salary: Based on Experience + Tips

Position: Groomer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Qualified candidate MUST have knowledge and experience with a variety of dog breed grooming and exceptional scissoring/clipper skills.
  • Must have grooming tools to work with daily.
  • Must be comfortable with dogs of ALL sizes and breeds.
  • Must be able to move animals, merchandise, and equipment up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform dog baths, deep brushing, groom cuts to customer requirements and preferences.
  • Must be able to operate company-owned grooming van to and from customer locations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the salon/grooming van.
  • Maintain daily paperwork and online information.

Job Requirements

  • MUST LOVE ANIMALS!!! We treat our dogs like family members and each staff member must embrace that philosophy!
  • Must have at least 1 year of grooming experience
  • Energetic/Positive Personality
  • Be available on weekends & holidays

Position: Daycare Attendant

Status: Open

Salary: $13 Per Hour

Position: Daycare Attendant

Primary Responsibilities

  • Watch, Care for, and play with both Small & Large dogs throughout an 8 hour shift. (Must not be timid or afraid to handle large dogs)
  • Bring the dogs from the play yard into the building without incident and vice versa.
  • Clean up after dogs immediately both inside the facility and outside in the play yard (We pride ourselves on complete cleanliness at all times)
  • Maintain the facility as a whole by performing tasks including, but not limited to: sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning windows/doors, wiping counters, taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, and checking equipment and supplies.
  • Assist other staff members with such tasks as blowing leaves in the play yard, doing laundry (pet blankets/beds), cleaning dog bowls, feeding dogs, etc..
  • Administer food & medications as indicated by owners and veterinarian.
