Meet Charlie! Pitbull
Introducing our next Bark Squad member: Charlie!
Charlie is a Pitbull that has been coming to our daycare for a little over a year! He is a rowdy boy with a gentle side, who loves to play hard and love harder! We are always so happy to see Charlie because we know he is about to have a great time! We are thrilled to have Charlie as a part of our bark squad, He is here with us a few times a week and has quickly become a big part of our family here!
We asked Charlie’s parents to answer some of our questions about him that everyone can read below. We’re so glad to learn more about this sweet pup and very thankful that his parents continue to choose us to look after him. We hope to have Charlie around for many more years to come!
Q: Tell us Charlie’s story! Where was he born and what made you fall in love with him?
A: Charlie is a rescue form California. He was found in crate on a wellness check in from the breeder. He had no shade, no food, or water. He was nearly starved before he was rescued. A friends of mine nursed him back to health. The first time I saw his cute face, I knew I would give him a home!
Q: What breed is Charlie? What is your favorite thing about the breed?
A: Charlie is a Pitbull. My daughter has a pit mix so I knew a little about the breed. Pitbulls are so loyal to their people- Eager to please. He is always has his tail wagging and a smile on his face!
Q: How did you come up with his name?
A: Charlie was a name I liked and my kids agreed to it!
Q: What is Charlie’s favorite thing to do?
A: Charlie’s favorite thing to do is chase tennis balls and lizards, and roll in the grass.
Q: Is there a silly or funny story about Charlie that you would like to share?
A: Charlie has us laughing everyday. He cries at the door everyday to go outside and chase lizards. I’m not sure what would happen if he ever caught one!
